Site preparation and house pads in Perth
Every build starts with the dirt. If the pad is out of level or not compacted properly, you pay for it later in cracked slabs and arguments with the builder. We clear, cut, fill and compact sites across Perth, the hills and surrounding rural blocks so the next trade turns up to a pad that is ready to go.
It is the same crew and the same way of working we have used on WA mine sites for more than 20 years, scaled to suit a residential block.

What site preparation covers
We work to the levels and compaction requirements on your engineer's or builder's drawings. If you don't have plans yet, give us a call and we can talk through what the site will need before you commit to anything.
- Clearing the block of scrub, rubbish and old footings
- Cutting sloping blocks back to level and filling the low side
- House pads and shed pads built to the levels on your plans
- Compaction in layers with rollers, with the water cart keeping moisture right
- Final trim to level, ready for the slab or the builder
- Spoil carted away, or fill brought in when the site is short
Small blocks and tight access
Plenty of Perth jobs are on narrow lots, battleaxe blocks or backyards with a side gate and not much else. Our ASV and Kubota Posi Track skid steers are made for that kind of access. When the job has the room, the excavators, dozer and graders come in and get through it faster.
We own the plant and the tippers, so the start date is not held up waiting on a hire company or a separate carrier.
Getting a price
To price a pad or a site cut we need the suburb, the rough size of the block, how much fall there is across it and what is going on it. A few photos help a lot. If there are plans or a soil report, send those too and we can price it properly the first time.
Get a price on your job
Send the suburb, a rough size and a few photos through the quote form, or call and talk to the people who will run the work.
