Roads, access tracks, hardstands and the civil work that goes with them. We have built access roads for Rio Tinto, road works on a Fortescue rail crossing diversion and haul roads across the Pilbara, and we bring the same plant and standards to civil jobs around Perth.
Civil work we take on
Most civil jobs are a mix of earthworks, drainage and finishing. Because we do all three, you deal with one contractor and one programme instead of juggling three.

Built to carry the load
Graders and rollers handle the final trim and compaction, the water cart keeps the dust down and the moisture right, and our articulated dump trucks and tippers move the material. That fleet came out of mining work, where a road has to carry heavy trucks every day and still drain after rain.
A farm track or a commercial access road works on the same rules: a sound base, proper compaction and water that runs off the surface instead of sitting on it.
Project experience
On Rio Tinto's ICSS project we built 2.1 km of access road along with the signal pads. The Fortescue road rail crossing diversion took in bulk earthworks, culverts and road construction to Main Roads WA requirements. The full list of projects is on our capability page.
